Internships

Since it's inception, Cape Cod Ballet Theatre has provided internships to local ballet students and pre-professional dancers. Internships provide older students an opportunity to explore dance from a different perspective.

Interns participate in classes and workshops, alongside the lead teacher... allowing them the chance to learn first hand, how to work with and communicate ideas and technical proficiency to younger students, in a nurturing and professional environment.

Thru this process, interns continue to hone their own fundamental technical skills, while learning different ways in which to pass that information onto younger students. CCBT interns have gone onto both professional dance careers and onto college; earning degrees in education, psychology, law, international studies, engineering, as well as dance.
